How I pick

How I pick the places on this site.

Short version: families report, I check, every place gets an honest heads-up, and money never decides what's listed.

It starts in the group

Families in the group report back on hotels, beaches and day trips, and I log what they say: the kids' ages, how many of them, what worked and what didn't. Names stay out of it unless someone says they're happy to be quoted, and then it's first name only.

Then I check the facts

Room sizes and kids club ages come from the hotel's own site where I can get them, and from booking listings or trusted family travel sites where I can't. When sources disagree, I say so and tell you what to ask the hotel.

Every place gets a heads-up

Nowhere suits every family. If I can't find an honest downside, the place doesn't go up yet.

Money doesn't decide what's listed

Some links on this site (hotels, trips and the eSIM) are affiliate links. You pay the same and we earn a small commission, which keeps the group and this guide free. We only share ones we'd actually recommend, and a place never gets listed just because it pays.

Everything is dated

Every hotel shows when it was last checked, so you can see how fresh it is.

Spotted a mistake?

Post in the group or comment on any of my posts, and I'll look into it.

You don't have to plan this alone.

Our group is around 11,000 families, and plenty of them have just been where you're going. Share your dates, ask your question, and someone's almost certainly done your exact trip.
