Where to stay with kids
Family hotels in Thailand.
Tell us where you're going, how old the kids are and how many of you there are. Every place is checked against the hotel's own site or booking listings, plus family reviews where we have them, and each one comes with an honest heads-up.
Heads up: the booking buttons in this guide are affiliate links. If you book through one we earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you, and it helps keep the group and this guide free. We only share places we'd actually recommend, and a place never gets listed just because it pays.
Choose a destination
Not sure yet? Start with where to base yourselves.
Kata, Karon, Kamala and the quieter north. Most choice, easiest logistics.
Ao Nang and Noppharat Thara: walk to dinner, boats to the islands.
Long quiet beaches and big resort pools, 90 minutes from Phuket airport.
Choeng Mon, Bophut and Maenam. The Gulf side, good when the Andaman is rough.
Five or more of you?
Most Thai hotel rooms cap at 2 adults and 2 kids, and connecting rooms often can't be guaranteed. We list the exact room types that sleep 5 or 6.
